Neil - Guitar

For me, music is less about virtuosity and more about atmosphere, tension, and release. A single guitar line can carry weight through space, repetition, and subtle variation, shaping emotions rather than demanding attention. In BluecOre, I see the guitar as a voice that weaves between structure and freedom—sometimes grounding the music, sometimes dissolving into texture. Singing adds another layer to that expression, allowing emotions to surface where words alone would fall short.

Favorite Bands

I’m deeply influenced by the emotional depth and sonic experimentation of Radiohead and Pink Floyd. From progressive metal, especially Tool, I draw a fascination for tension, rhythm, and long-form dynamics. Grunge bands like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains add a rawness and honesty that reminds me that heaviness isn’t about volume alone, but about emotional weight.
